These particular issues, the way they are expected to meet the needs of companies and the working world in general and, broadly speaking, the features of members of the leading structure require a special operative organization structure.

It is a “knowledge network”, attainable from different branches (firms, industries, research centres, universities), with main “learning hubs” located near the founding members’ branch offices.

Courses, seminars and master programmes, as far as the on-site section is concerned, take place, according to opportunities, near to both the main branch offices and other suitable locations, that are relevant to the discipline in question (i.e. presence of a particular test laboratory, availability of instrumentation and/or specific software, etc.).

Beyond the main nodes of the “knowledge network”, located near to the main branch offices, the consortium’s operating structure has grown till including – with the set-up of a Europe-wide “virtual company” – other organizations committed in vocational training, sharing, at the same time, ideas and objectives with the TCN Consortium, as well as complementing its training offer. Such organizations are involved as associate structures in the TCN network.

Furthermore, the Consortium offers a portal for distance training, in addition to services oriented to course conductors and trainers for the inclusion of their didactic materials on the portal.
