The objective of the Consortium is the promotion of training activities at various levels relating to the disciplines that refer, also complementarily and transversally, to CAE (Computer Aided Engineering), virtual prototyping and testing, numerical simulations, iDP (Intelligent Digital Prototyping), and related disciplines which are bound to statistics, data structure, Information Technology and software engineering in general.
The purpose is to make the corresponding software technology usable to engineers and industries, with specific reference to the current productive context, as far as both the users’ needs and the solutions offered by the market and their trend development are concerned.
The Consortium's distinguishing features are: its leading structure, recipients, operating methods, contents, training plans and students’ certification.
The learning opportunities are well articulated and the services offered are complementary: both are guaranteed by an adequate and actual working structure that provides the international "learning community" an attainable “knowledge network” of different branches (companies/firms, industries, research centres and universities).
On the whole, the consortium constitutes a unique and original board in a national and European context.
